- Extra cleaning in the classrooms and common areas prior to opening, throughout the day, and upon closing on a daily basis.
- Furniture and toys are disinfected and Sanitized after each use. Including Playground toys and equipment.
- Soap and paper towel dispensers are available in all areas to include outdoors to encourage safe hand hygiene.
- Children are encouraged to wash their hands more often.
- Hand sanitizers available.
The staff is required to wear the appropriate PPE as recommended by the Ministry of Education. They are required to go through a screening process at the start of their day with us.
All our Policies and Procedures will be updated in accordance with The Region of Peel and the Ministry of Education.
Families are asked to ring the doorbell, The children will be screened before being allowed to enter. The Screen will proceed in asking the parent questions set out by the Public Health and the Ministry. The child is then brought into their room where they will be greeted by their Educator. When picking up children at the end of the day, parents are asked to ring the doorbell and the staff will bring the child to the door.
In the event a child becomes ill in our care, the parent will be notified to pick up the child and the child will be isolated from the children with a staff member until the parent arrives.
The Health and Safety of your child is a priority. We will do everything possible to follow the social distancing both inside and outside the classrooms.
